Whether we like it or not, planning is an essential part of life, and the more we hope to accomplish in life, the more planning will be required. If you ate breakfast this morning, then some planning took place. At the very least, you (or someone) had to visit the grocery store to buy milk and cereal. Three Questions to Ask Before Speaking to the Pastor (Prior to a Church Service)

I’ve read several articles recently on this subject and I thought it would be helpful to share some thoughts on it for church members. No job in ministry is unimportant, but for the pastor, there is nothing more significant than the preaching of God’s Word. Many hours every week are devoted to prayer and study for this crucial time. The majority of people never consider the effect of their words on the preacher prior to the service, yet every church member can play a role in determining the effectiveness of the sermon.
