SERVING GOD WITHOUT THE WORD OF GOD

 

Many folk are busy in church work who have little interest in the Word of God. This makes their service faulty and not for God but for self. They serve to be noticed and praised of men. Their service is not guided by the Word of God but by the word of man.

Therefore, it is not service for God. The great lack of emphasis on the Word of God in the churches only decreases the true service rendered to the Lord by the people of the church. Service for God is never promoted apart from the Word of God.

How can a servant be a good servant if he has little interest in the word of the master, for the word of the master is what determines the service. You will not serve much or well if the Word of God is not prominent in your life.
