The Old Testament was a covenant of law. But, the old covenant was done away in Christ Jesus. Today we are under a Covenant of Grace. " This Covenant of Grace in the New Testament is the only covenant in the New Testament! Why then does Rick Warren demand his people sign and commit themselves to four non Biblical covenants that he himself has instituted? "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free.." (Galatians 5:1, KJV)

Now, listen to the Word of God and the Apostle Paul, "And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:" (Galatians 2:4, KJV) Because we are under liberty, the New Testament Scriptures do not teach any other covenant!!!! If you don't read your Bible then at least check your concordance to see if the Apostles ordained any other covenants! There are none. Why? Because, "For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love." (Galatians 5:6, KJV) True motivation for serving God is faith and love, not bondage! Paul says these are "false brethren" that put us under bondage!

Do you understand the consequences for breaking a covenant? God removed us from committing to covenants because it was impossible for us to keep them and brings us under condemnation! Then why would you allow Rick Warren to spy out our liberty and bring Christians into the bondage of four non Biblical covenants?!?? The people might enter in willingly, but once they enter into these covenants they are prisoners of obligation! Now they can no longer serve God out of a "faith which worketh by love." Note Paul's testimony, "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me." (1 Corinthians 15:10, KJV) We serve God by grace and not under bondage! False brethren in Paul's day brought people into bondage! But you say Rick Warren is not bringing us back under the old covenant of law. That is true, but he has instituted four new covenants that are binding for the rest of the lives of our people and that is great bondage! Through this bondage you can get a large and faithful crowd, but you are not glorifying God!! Four new covenants, four new covenants that are not in the Bible! Only one in the New Testament, and that of Liberty!!!

Read your Bible and not books about the Bible every day so you do not let a Rick Warren turn you from the way to truth. Lead your people to serve God in liberty and grace and not bondage. And pray for the deliverance of "false brethren" who "spy out our liberty" and "bring us into bondage." Do I think that Rick Warren is "false brethren?" Is he bringing people to serve God by pure grace or bondage? What do you think God's Word discerns about Rick Warren? Why have non Biblical Covenants if there is no bondage? And finally, never judge truth by numbers! Judge every work by the Word of God. "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1, KJV)
