TERRORISM BY ANY OTHER NAME IS STILL TERRORISM

ALF does not stand for an alien life form that is brown and furry.  An ELF is not a small creature with pointed ears who works for Santa. Can you guess what they are? Here’s another hint. ALF and ELF are responsible for illegal activities such as trespassing, arson, and fire bombings.

ALF stands for Animal Liberation Front and ELF is the Earth Liberation front. They are both terrorist groups, according to an official definition given by the FBI.

These wacko nuts release animals that do not belong to them, from facilities such as testing laboratories and mink farms. They set fire to buildings and businesses, including restaurants that serve meat.

They have even burned restaurants, such as McDonalds. These groups break the law and create mayhem in the name of compassion for mistreated animals and the abused earth, bringing deliverance from the exploitation of "evil" capitalists.

Their compassion is usually one sided and misplaced. A few years ago, I heard a representative from Greenpeace speak at Southern Mississippi University. Though they are not as destructive as ALF and ELF, they still have a misguided passion.

He literally cried about how the baby seals in Alaska were being clubbed to death to provide furs for selfish humans. Actually, he would have protested whether the death was from clubbing, lethal injection, or old age. When asked about their position on abortion, he conveniently dodged the issue by stating that since abortion was such an emotional issue, Greenpeace had not adopted a position. Yet, emotions ran high over baby seals.  Conclusion? Animals are more important than humans.  Like I said, misguided compassion.

When illogical wackiness takes over, expect anything. I will not be surprised when I hear of a movement to stop killing plants, since they have life. Plants rights might be one effort I would support.

I would never have to mow the lawn again, thereby sparing the lives of millions of baby blades of grass and all the microscopic life they support.  Hmmm.  This has possibilities. No more hedge trimming or tree pruning.

Yard work would become extinct.  Of course, we could no longer then eat vegetables. This would spare a lot of innocent squash, lettuce, and tomato blood. The result: we would all starve to death,  because all we could eat would be cardboard, Styrofoam, and air.

It would be worth it, because plants, animals, and the earth would be saved from the real villain, man. Oh happy ecology day!  Sounds logical,  if you are a misguided, bleeding heart, plant and animal and earth worshiping nut. On the other hand, if you want to come back to reality, read and believe Genesis 1:26-30, 9:1-3, and I Timothy 4:3-5.

Philosophies that are divorced from sound Bible doctrine and good common sense can breed violence and terrorism. Whether planting bombs, hijacking planes or burning buildings, no one has a right to disregard and violate the rights and property of others in the name of liberation, and that includes abortion clinic bombers.
