When I was born in 1948 there were still men living that fought in the War Between the States. My grandparents had lived through two world wars and the Great Depression. They made a living on soil that had been worn out for a long time.

It was this generation had the greatest influence on my beliefs. Although they have been in Glory Land for a long time, their beliefs and character, which were based on the Bible, are still with me. Because of that I have some unpopular opinions today since I refuse to say they were wrong.

Concerning our moral conditions, I believe that what has been was better than what is. Our economic conditions are better but our spiritual condition is much worse. The nuclear family of that day is the nuked family today. The politeness and manners of that day have been replaced by the rudeness and crudeness of today.

Modesty has been replaced by a monstrosity of nudeness and sloppiness. Freedom in your home, community, city, and state has been lost as we are prisoners in our own dwellings because of thieves, robbers, and thugs. In many places, the evolutionist have won because it has became the survival of the fittest.

And now to the rest of the story concerning we Baptists. We sure have a good way of putting a positive spin on everything. I am amazed at the way we look at immigration. "God sent them here so we can win them" is the statement I keep hearing. Don’t try that guilt trip on me with your little religious pious, syrupy, sentimental, soggy rhetoric.

My question is, "Are you going to win the great hordes of Catholics coming over from Mexico when you have not made a dent on the Catholics already in your community?" God did not send them here.

I have heard Christian leaders gloat that they now have a Mosque is now in their neighborhood and are tickled pink because they can now witness to a Moslem. What have you been smoking? God did not send them here. God commanded the church to "go" reach the lost nations.

The Devil is using this to destroy our country. America is the country that sends out more missionaries, preaches more Gospel, sends out more relief aid, defends the right of more nations, and has more individual freedom than any other nation. And you still think their culture is going to make us better?

Oh, I forgot, you are going to win them to Christ when they have brought their own flag, have their own place to worship, have their own schools, have their own moral code (the Koran) that tells them to kill Christians and Jews, and are totally indoctrinated that the U.S. is the great Satan.

If we do not reform our immigration policies, when you’re time under the sun is over, will America be more or less Christian? We will be a country just like Brazil.

Many are not trying to preserve our culture because they have been brainwashed into believing America is not a Christian nation. One thing is for sure, America isn’t a Hindu nation, a Buddhist nation, nor a Moslem nation.

America is called a Christian nation just like India is called a Hindu nation and Iran is identified as a Moslem nation. America was founded on the Bible and the Christian religion. As a matter of fact, Woodrow Wilson said, "America was born a Christian nation."

There are 5 things necessary to unite a nation that are not found in our present immigration policy and practice: a common language, a common legal code, a common moral code,. a common religious principle, and representative government.

The new immigrants do not seem interested in learning our language. They want us to teach them theirs and put their language along side English. They do not want to be known as Americans but Arab-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Hispanics, etc.

The new immigrants do not share a common legal code. Ours is based on English law which is based on the Bible. How many different forms of government has Mexico had since she gained her independence from Spain. A socialist almost became President this year.

The moral code of America has been based on the Bible. The Old and New Testament have been what we judged right and wrong by. If the new immigrants won’t accept our language and they have no background in our legal code what makes you think they will accept our moral code. Even our own Federal courts are trying to destroy the moral code of America by removing the 10 Com- mandments wherever they can.

Their legal and moral codes are sure different from ours. You have seen the Moslem codes in action in Afghanistan and in America on 9-11, and in Britain on 7-7. Those south of the border violate our most basic laws, not as refugees fleeing persecution, but as invaders demanding entitlement

What do they understand about representative government? The Democratic Party is at the borders to sign them up to vote and promise them that they will put them at the head of the line and give them payoffs.

I don’t like idea of them buying a business here and not having to pay taxes for 5 years. This gives them a great advantage over Americans who have worked hard and paid into the system to get where they are. Is that the way the free enterprise system is supposed to work? Absolutely not, and it won’t work because their understanding of government is that it is there to give.

If we do not severely curtail immigration we will be like Israel trying to deal with the Palestinians within her borders. Yes, God can send a revival like the Great Awakening and change the spiritual make-up and political beliefs of the great hordes of immigrants thundering into our land, but this cheap, 1-2-3 pray after me, if we don’t see them in church we’ll see them in heaven philosophy won’t get the job done. It has not done the job for Americans.

We need to rise up against immigration and not try to appease our conscience by taking the hyper-Calvinist view that there is nothing we can do about it. Jesus said, "Occupy till I come" and I can’t occupy if someone else has my place.

We must not give in, give up or give way to the pressure on us. God has brought us too far to throw away everything he has done for our country. We cannot allow the graves of our Forefathers to be trampled over by this non-Christian culture.
