One of the patients of an irreligious physician was an old lady who was a born again Christian. One day he said to her: “So you believe in prayer, do you? Well, I’m badly in need of money, so I think I’ll pray for it."
She replied: “If you were introduced to the king or to the Prince of Wales today, would you at once ask either of them for money?"
"No-ooo, I suppose not.. "
"Ah, Doctor, you’ll have to be introduced to and know my Heavenly Father before you can expect Him to give money just for the asking."
