A FALSE MILLENNIUM

 

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH

 

There are two churches emerging at the end of the age that we are living
in.  The True Church (The Bride of Christ), and the False Church (The Harlot Church).  The woman in Rev. 17-18 represents the full flower of this Harlot Church to culminate in the tribulation time.  We are called to separate ourselves from this ecclesiastical harlotry. (Rev. 18:4)

We see two religions flying the same banner of Christianity today.  The True Church that stands without apology for the faith once delivered unto the saints.  That stands on the only truly God inspired, inherent, and perfectly preserved Word of God.  Then there is the False Church, that is the Harlot Church, which becomes the One World Church during the Great Tribulation time.

This church has many tentacles that are making their inroads into our world today.  Some of those tentacles are the National  Council of Churches, the World Council of Churches, the Ecumenical movement, the Charismatic movement and many para-church organizations.

Rip Van Winkle slept through a revolution.  George the Third was ruler of
America when he went to sleep and George Washington was president when he awoke.  He almost got into serious trouble as he started whooping it up for
the king.  Now this was all right except he was hollering for the wrong George.

In these tragic times, many well meaning, but mistaken, people are doing the same thing.  They are not shouting for the monarch of the past age.  The God who never changes.  But rather for a false Messiah of an age  to come.

God has set up the true Church, the Bride of Christ, to proclaim the Gospel to a lost and dying world today.  He gave to the church the marching orders, we know of as the great commission.

He sent the Apostles out to establish churches for this purpose.  He sent the great church planter, Paul, out to do the same thing.  They were to establish local, Bible believing, God honoring, churches.  It is through this medium, we are to reach the lost world in this dispensation of Grace, also known as the Church Age.

God did not send these early church planters to establish Para Church organizations like we see springing up everywhere today.  Organizations that are not by, through and for the local church come and go because they are founded on man made rules rather than on the eternal Word of God  through the local church.

Many have come into the area of fundamentalism only to move into the camp of the New Evangelical, and in some cases even into the liberal or modernistic camp of the counterfeit church.  A long list list could be given such as many popular TV evangelists, such as the Jimmy Swagarts, Rev. Ikes, Jim Bakers, Youth for Christ, Campus Crusade, Focus on the Family, Promise Keepers, and on and on.

Many preliminary signs are evident.  From the New Day that was promised by Communism to the New World Order that we hear so much of today that is bringing in a one world government and to the World Brotherhood of the religious liberals who are setting the foundation stones of a one world church.  The so-called birth pangs are in reality the dying gasps of this age.  The spirit behind most movements promising a new world today are not Christian.  It is not light breaking through but rather darkness settling down.

Now the preacher or the fundamental church that will stand up against this counterfeit church that is trying to bring everyone together as one will not be popular in their day or community.  But God has not called us to please the people but rather to stand up and proclaim the Word of God without compromise.

The issue is Christ or Anti-Christ.  It is either God who became man or man who will claim to be God.  When Christ came to earth, there was a Roman peace of law and order by imperial force.  When Christ comes again, there will be another Roman peace.  That peace will be shattered when the true nature of Anti-Christ be-comes apparent.  But first he will delude mankind with his program.

We can see some advance notices now.  The blueprints for the last empire
of the Caesar's are seen in NATO and other alliances.  The United Nations and internationalism all point toward a one world government.  Then we see all of the ecumenical movements springing from Rome.

Large rallies all across our land that are trying to break down the barriers and bridge the gap of all denominations and groups.  All in an effort to make us all one, thus setting up the foundation for everyone coming together to set up this
one world church of the Anti-Christ.

Even in our local communities where
all churches are urged to lay aside their differences and come together in citywide crusades and youth rallies for the common good of our communities. All these are previews of the profane paradise of the counterfeit Messiah. All of this comes through subtle regimentation, uniformity, conformity, and the leveling of the human race to one faceless mass.

The Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of man is not the program of
Christ but rather of Anti-Christ.  It is so cleverly promoted that it even seems unchristian to oppose it.  The few who will stand up against it in these days are open for ridicule.

Important clergymen will endorse this
false millennium, and churches put it in their budgets.  It offers rash amateurs and misguided youths a cause and a chance to be martyrs.  It will provide a field day for all Rip Van Winkles who suddenly rise up and holler for the wrong George.

We need to see the complete picture.  So let's take a look at the history of human depravity.  It all began when men "changed the truth of God into a lie."  (Romans 1:25)  It will reach its climax when "God shall send strong delusion that men should believe a lie."  (II Thess. 2:11)

Now the devil is a liar and the father of it according to John 8:44.  He began his
deception in the Garden of Eden when he told Eve? "Ye shall not surely die".  All the unmentionable sins of Romans chapter 1 grew out of that initial deception.  All we need to do to see this is to read of it on the pages of our newspapers everyday.

We are being primed today for the final delusion.  P. T. Barnum said "The American people love to be humbugged."  This is the most sophisticated and yet the most gullible generation in all history.  We buy more gold bricks and white elephants than all our forefathers put together.

Just listen to the radio and TV commercials.  The best detergent, the best air-freshener, the best anything because of a secret ingredient.  We know it's a bunch of hokum, but we buy it anyway.  I'm just saying we are being brainwashed for the big lie.

May I just say that it is sad to say that those who are hollering for the wrong George are sincerely wrong people.  Oh yes, we are going to bring in a New World Order with its One World Government and along with it a One World Church.  The only thing is that it will be the wrong church.  It will be the Harlot or false church.

The liberal, or modernistic church, by
using the New Evangelical movement, with its ecumenical thrust to move those who stand for the fundamental truths of fundamentalism toward their camp, are accomplishing their agenda everyday.  This is being done through education, ventilation, sanitation, and by legislation.

But listen to me, better environment is not the answer.  Adam was in a paradise when he fell.  If better conditions were the answer, Adam would never have fallen.  The mixing of everyone into a mulligan stew won't do it either.  You can't improve humanity by scrambling bad eggs into a big omelet.  At the Disarmament Conference years age Will Rogers said, "These
fellows might get somewhere if it wasn't for human nature".

Spurgeon said, "Apart from the Second Coming of Christ, the world is more
likely to sink into a pandemonium than to rise to a millennium".  Satan will launch modern movements under religious auspices in order to maneuver Christians where he wants them.  (Mark 13:22) "For false Christ's and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.".  One of these days, many well meaning church people will wake up to find they have been working for the devil's millennium.

False Messiahs are announcing false kingdoms and false millenniums. It doesn't make any difference how much Scripture is quoted nor how many prominent church people endorse it, many Christians, though well intentioned, are hollering for the wrong George.  Leninsaid, "We will find our most fertile field for infiltration of Marxism within the field of religion, because religious people are the most gullible and will accept almost anything if it is couched in religious terminology".

The church missed the boat when they ceased being pilgrims and strangers in an unfriendly world.  When they stopped looking for their King to return, and when they began building a kingdom down here on earth.  Since then they have been hooked on all kinds of projects and taken for a ride on all kinds of band wagons.

The church needs to regain her voice for God.  Our Lord delivered no lectures on how much tax to pay Caesar.  Paul held no seminars on slavery and equal-rights.
  Let the Church regain her distinctive message.  Our strength is in our diversity, not in our conformity.  The more we become alike, or the more we become one, the weaker we become, as the Promise Keepers would have it, the church of Medesto where all of our churches become one in unity with a common banner.

There is no way in which we can completely misuse John 17:22,23 in making it say we are all to be one in complete unity, as one church, to let the world know that we are one.

When we strive to make the Christian Church, the Lutheran Church, the Methodist Church, the Catholic Church, the Presbyterian Church, the Assemblies of God, the North American Baptist Churches, the Southern Baptist Churches, the Independent Baptist Churches and all other churches into a church of Medesto by "breaking down the way of bringing in the Harlot (One World) Church.

A direct quote from the Church of Medesto is "The ultimate thing to happen is for all of us to be of one accord and when Jesus comes."(superscript: ) This sounds as if we think we are going to bring in the millennium.  That we are go ing to get the world good enough for Christ to come back and set up His kingdom.

But my Bible tells me "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived." May God help us if we think we are going to bring in the Millennium.

The Church was never intended to play accompaniment for anyone. It is not
to beat the drums and second the motion for any project of this world.  She is to have nothing to do with any crusade promoting the devil's millennium.

So listen, dear Christian friend? Are you in the place of James 4:4? "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?  Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God".  Don't you think it is about time to quit pussy-footing around?

Don't you think it is about time to quit crusading for the good of this world and start crusading for Jesus?  Oh how we need to listen to the Word of God.

II Corinthians 6:14,17 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers; for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteous-ness? And what communion hath light with darkness?  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you."

II Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."  II John 8 "Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward."

II Corinthians 5:10 "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."  Matthew 25:21 "His lord said unto him, well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."

Now my purpose is not to stir up controversy nor to cause problems.  My
whole thrust is that you will be able to see the whole picture, not just half, and be able to see what really is going on, as the Bible reveals to us, and how the end times will end.

The end of this dispensation of Grace (known as the church age) will end with the rapture of the true Church and then there will be a one world government and one world Church (the Harlot Church) set up, ruled by the Antichrist and the false prophet.  I am afraid that many sincere people will one day very soon find, as Rip Van Winkle did, that they have been hollering for the wrong George.  You see, it is sometimes possible to get so far into the forest that we cannot see the trees for the woods.

Now I would like to point out that there are three basic camps in the
religious world today.  The true fundamental Bible believing camp, the New
Evangelical camp and the Modernistic camp.  Here is where I would like to
point out how these three relate to each other in our modern religious world.

The Modernistic camp are the ones who deny many of the basic doctrines of the Bible; such as the blood atonement, the bodily resurrection, the infallibility and the inspiration of the Bible, the miracles, etc.  The true fundamental Bible Believing camp are those of us who hold dearly to all the Bible teaches as literal and stand firmly to the true preserved Word of God, as in the KJV, as inspired in the original manuscripts.

Who stand without compromise on  these  great  doctrines  of  the  Bible.  Then there is the New Evangelical camp that the Modernist camp is very subtly using to bring many of those in the fundamentalist camp into the modernistic one world Church movement.

All of this is so subtle and gradual that many don't even know they are being sucked into the devil's millennium.  It is being done through the Para Church organizations (those who are not grounded and based through the local church), the National Council of Churches, the World Council of Churches, the EcumenicalMovement, and the Charismatic Movement.

All of these are dedicated to the one purpose, to bring all the churches in harmony so that we can all be of one spirit when Christ comes back.  Thus playing right into the hand of Satan.
