Matthew 16:13-19: Jesus Started The First Local New Testament Church While On Earth.

If we are to survive today we must have the same type of church.

We must get back to the basics of the King James Bible church building program: DOCTRINAL TRUTH.

The Validity of Gods Preserved Word.

The Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ.

The Virtuous Life of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Vicarious Death of Christ for the lost world.

The Victorious Resurrection after Calvary's crucifixion.

The Visible Return of Christ For His Church.

The Vital Facts of His Lordship over our lives after conversion.

The Viciousness of Sin upon mankind.

"If its new it isn't true Ä if it's true it isn't new".

Matthew 7:24-29: The Church must be built strong Ä upon a ROCK.

Luke 6:46-49: Built upon a ROCK.

WHAT KIND OF ROCKS WILL IT TAKE TO MAKE IT STRONG???

1. The SCRIPTURES. We read, memorize, use and practice. Warning to Bible Correctors: Deut. 4:2, Prov. 30:5-6, Rev. 22:19.

2. The STANDARDS OF SEPARATION we live by every day.

3. The SOUL WINNING methods we use. Repentance and Faith. Jer. 35:2. A visitation program outlined for us. "Just nobodies telling everybody about somebody that will save anybody!!!"

4. The SERVICES we have in the church house. Not wild fire. Praise and Worship chanting - the old blood songs still work! Contemporary bar room music or Nashville Twang. Hollywood drama for the seeker!

5. The STRUCTURE of the Local Church government and leadership. Preacher haters beware: 2 Chron. 36:15-20.

Not Deacon Run = but Pastor Led and Fed.

The Pastor serving the Lord and God's people.

The deacons serving the pastor and the church family.

The church family serving the community around.

6. The SPIRIT of the Individual Believer Ä at home and at church! Home: where each live for the other and all live for God.

7. The SINGING of the people Ä the "hum is important at church". Is the music leader the only one that sings? Where are the men of the church in the music program?

8. The SETTING of the church plant Ä city, rural, store front. Be as first class as you can afford Ä clean, bright, usable.

9. The SCHOLARSHIP. The Doctrines taught. Bible based truth.

10. The SENSITIVITY to the Holy Ghost. Listen to Him. Follow His leading.

11. The SIMPLICITY of the Gospel Message.

G-O-S-P-E-L. God Offers Sinful People Eternal Life. There is only ONE Gospel. Death, Burial, Resurrection of Christ. A 2 Sided Coin - Faith and repentance.

Hebrews 10:19-29: Our Only Hope of Survival in this sinful world is God's Local New Testament Baptist Church.

Every local church should be: Preaching, Powerful, Pure, Progressive.

God's will is for all to be SAVED, SPIRIT FILLED and SERVING in a Local New Testament Baptist Church.

A Local Church must teach its people what true Christianity really is: COURAGE, COMPASSION, CONVENTION and CHARACTER. In our HEAD, HEART and HANDS.

BE READY TO PREACH, PRAY, AND PASS AWAY!!

Don't stand before God outside one of His local churches. It's the only organization that Jesus established while on earth!!

INVITATION: Are you sure of going to heaven when you die? If you are saved, are you obedient? Baptist Baptism? Church Membership? Involved in a personal ministry for God? Faithful to all services? Tithing? Faith Promise to Missions? Inviting people to church? Door knocking?
