There was a time, like many of you, when Bro. Groll wanted nothing to do with God or the church. He was living a life of do what I want when I want. At the age of 23 he married a girl who was just like him.

However, one of her brothers was saved and wanted to share with Dennis and Joy who God was. Dennis and Joy attended a dedication service at a Baptist Church which was the first time either one of them had heard the gospel.

In November of 1976 the Pastor came to their home and shared with them the plan of salvation. That night they both trusted Christ as their Saviour. Dennis and Joy served the Lord through the years in their local church.

In 1991 a missionary came to their church and presented the jail and prison ministry. On that night God confirmed in their heart that this is what Bro. Groll needed to do. He began going to jails and prisons sharing his testimony as well as preaching the truth to the inmates.

Bro. Dennis worked with the Missionary until January 2000 when the Lord called the missionary to pastor a church. Bro. Groll is now on deputation raising support to continue the ministry.

The ministry is continuing to grow as God opens more opportunities for him. His purpose is not to let those in jail know they messed up, but to share with them that there is hope. That there is a way to live a useful life and that is through knowing the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Grolls minister to both men and women who are incarcerated and are teaching them the Word of God as found in the King James Bible. Please pray for this ministry.
