From The Desk of The Editor

Since I have not written anything the past few issues I thought I would write something for this first issue of the year 2000. As you can see I am still the editor in spite of my terrible mistake of leaving out so much of Pastor Perkins article. Well, the only excuse I can claim is old age. BELIEVE ME I REALLY FELT BAD ABOUT IT.

We even had a few people write thinking I was really going to be replaced. HOWEVER, NO SUCH LUCK - FOR YOU OR ME!!! It was only a tongue in cheek article.

We have had a wonderful Fall here in the SUNNY southwest. It has been so long since we have had any rain that I can't remember when it was. Our skies have been clear for the most part. We have an average of 308 days of sunshine. I have no idea why they call Florida the sunshine state when they have the clouds and the thunder storms much of the year.

Our temperature has ranged throughout the Fall from 65 to 80 for the high and from 35 to 50 for the low. You couldn't ask for a better climate. This climate really agrees with the both of us. I can think of some other places, like New York State or Montana, I would rather live but this is where the Lord put us. And it is good on our health.

PLAN A VACATION TO SOUTH CAROLINA

If you are taking a vacation during 2000 South Carolina would be a great place to go. They have beautiful country side and great sea side resorts. A family could have a wonderful time.

Now you may wonder why I am suggesting a vacation to South Carolina. Very simple. The NAACP wants no one to take a vacation to South Carolina because they refuse to take down the confederate flag. I believe we should show our support for a state who still believes in freedom.

THE CONFEDERATE FLAG DOES NOT MEAN SLAVERY IT MEANS STATES RIGHTS. The Civil War was not about slavery. It was about each individual State having rights. The war was lost and now we have the Federal Government running everything and the individual States have very little rights left - EXCEPT THE RIGHT TO SEND MONEY TO D.C.

SLAVERY STILL ALIVE AND WELL

I find it amazing that so many who are concerned about slavery are now slaves of the Federal Government Ä especially the Liberal side of the government.

The Black people as a whole always vote for the liberal. The reason is that the Liberal always promises they will make things better for them. It never works out that way. All the liberals do is pass various programs which are designed to keep the black people voting for them.

While there is some improvement as a whole, very little changes except for those who get out and work at it, which anyone in America can do without the help of the Government. It is not the desire of liberals for things to improve for the black community or other minorities. Look at how the Federal Government has helped(??) the Indians.

The bottom line is that they keep voting for the liberal. It is about power. Power over people is what it is all about. So the blacks and other minorities have become the slaves of the Liberal Party.

Isn't it strange that the Communist Party no longer runs a candidate for President. They instead support the liberal candidate.

MANY WHITES ARE ALSO SLAVES

That's right. I was conducting a meeting at a church close to Peoria, Illinois several years ago. Most of the men in the church were out on strike against Caterpillar. Why? Because their union bosses told them to strike. They did not gain anything and finally went back to work. It was either that or starve.

At an after service social one night polities came up. To my amazement I was told that all of those men voted for Clinton. These were faithful men in an Independent Baptist Church. Can you believe that? I asked them why they did such a thing. The answer: "Our union leaders told us to." SLAVERY. These men were slaves to the union bosses. So they voted for a liberal sex pervert. So not only are many of the minorities slaves but also those who draw good salaries.

Here in Nevada, Clark County, we recently had the County Commissioners pass a law which was designed for only one thing. To keep Wal-Mart Super Stores out of the valley. Now why would they want to do such a thing? Very simple. Wal-Mart is not union and the union got their slave County Commissioners to vote against Wal-Mart. (This is a right to work state)

Of course Wal-Mart is taking them to court and the people of the valley are working at a petition drive to put it on the ballot in the next election, as well as a petition to recall the commissioners. In the mean time we have no SUPER STORE in which to shop.

SO SLAVERY IS ALIVE AND WELL. When a country like ours requires that its citizens pay 50% of their income for various taxes, while thinking of other ways to collect more taxes, IT IS EVIDENT THAT WE ARE ALL SLAVES OF ONE KIND OR ANOTHER.

POLITICALLY CORRECT TALK SHOW HOST

Since I work at night I have opportunity to listen to reruns of some of the talk shows. I can hear Ken Hamblin (the black avenger), Rush Limbaugh, Olie North, etc - and while working during the day on occasion I hear some of the local programs such as Allen Stock, Jay Casey, etc.

We have four or five stations with conservative talk shows. I notice that even though the talk show host does take a stand against "gay", or "homosexual", or "lesbian", or "pro choice", etc. he has really fallen into the trap of being politically correct.

Wouldn't it be something if they called those things by their real name? There is no such thing as a "gay" or "homosexual" or "lesbian" person. According to God they are SODOMITES. Why don't the talk show hosts just refer to them as SODOMITES? Simply, that wouldn't be politically correct.

They also talk about "Pro Choice" and "Pro Life". Why don't they refer to those who are for abortion as PRO DEATH. That is the opposite of PRO LIFE. It is either PRO LIFE or PRO DEATH. The person who is for abortion is for DEATH. The baby has no choice as to whether it wants to live or die. IT IS DEATH.

Referring to these baby killers as "Pro Choice" is the politically correct thing to do.

IS IT WRONG TO HATE?

I hear people say, "We hate the sin but not the sinner." IS THIS BIBLE? I even heard Mike Reagan say one time that God does not hate. Of course he attends one of those New Evangelical type churches who uses a perverted bible.

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT HATE?

Notice Psalms 139:17-24:

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.

For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Notice that the Psalmist hates those who speak against the Lord and take His name in vain. He hates them with what he calls "perfect hatred". Look in Proverbs 6:16-19 and you will find seven things (people) God hates. Also notice Isaiah 61:8 and Jeremiah 44:4 for hate from God. Notice also the scripture in Romans 9:13 and Psalms 5:4-5. SO IT IS CLEAR THAT GOD IS NOT JUST A GOD OF LOVE, BUT ALSO A "GOD OF HATE. The Lord hates things and people!!!

There are also some things which the Lord commands the Christian to hate. Look up the following scriptures: Psalms 97:10, Amos 5:15, Psalms 101:3, Psalms 119:104, Psalms 119:128, Psalms 119:113 and Psalms 119:163.

There are some people whom the Lord commands us to hate. Look up Proverbs 8:13, Luke 14:26 and Psalms 139:21. You will find that there are some people we are to hate.

I outlined the message from the pamphlet and have preached it in several churches in meetings. It is a message every Christian should read or hear.

HATE CRIMES

Our government has now decided to designate certain crimes as HATE CRIMES. The murder of the sodomite in Wyoming was certainly a crime. Murder is against God's law and man's law. However, if was not just called murder it was called a "HATE CRIME".

The men who dragged the black man to death in Texas are guilty of murder. In fact in my opinion they should suffer the same kind of death. Instead they will appeal, and appeal, and appeal with no doubt years going by before being put to death. This crime was also called a "HATE CRIME".

The shooting at the Jewish day care center in California was also called a HATE CRIME. And there have been others which we will pass by.

Strangely not all crimes of this kind are called HATE CRIMES. Two Indians in Montana dragged a white man to death. This was not called a hate crime. Could it be because the fellow who died was white?

Two sodomites murdered a 13 year old boy. We will not go into any detail as to what they did to this boy. It was brought out that they had been having sex with him. In other words they had taught him to also be a sodomite. SODOMITES ARE TAUGHT. NO ONE IS BORN A SODOMITE. (See article elsewhere)

Not being satisfied with their "relationship" with him they decided to sexually torture him. He suffocated because of the position they had put him in so that they could perform their sodomite deeds. In the apartment the police found handwritten instructions, a diagram on how to position the boy and notes describing unfulfilled fantasies of molesting other children.

WHY WASN'T THIS CALLED A HATE CRIME?

Then there was the shooting at a Southern Baptist Church in Texas. Young people gunned down while attending a prayer meeting. It was discovered that the man who did the shooting hated "religion", etc. This also passed from the scene with very little on TV or in the newspaper.

WHY WAS THIS NOT CALLED A HATE CRIME?

Did you hear the liberal politician and the liberal communist media raise their voices and call any of the above a HATE CRIME? It was hardly mentioned on TV or in the published media while the trial in Montana and in Texas which had been dubbed HATE CRIMES were on the news on a regular basis.

It is evident that the liberal politician and the liberal communist news media are not concerned very much when "straight" people or "white" people or "Christian young people" are murdered.

NO MENTION OF ANY OF THESE BEING HATE CRIMES. You might as well brace yourself because worse is yet to come. There is a prayer that all of us Saved Bible Believers ought to pray many times every day. Because if that prayer is not answered soon some of us will be going to jail for "HATE CRIMES" of speaking the truth. That prayer is found in the last part of verse 20 chapter 22 of the book of Revelation.

WASHINGTON CHURCHES WITHDRAW FROM THE BBFI

We received some information from a pastor in Washington State concerning a large number of churches withdrawing from the BBFI. Single churches, here and there, withdraw from the various organized fellowships and conventions (denominations), but very seldom in groups. Here is the RESOLUTION they voted on:

Be it resolved that the Washington State Baptist Bible Fellowship rescind its relationship to the Baptist Bible Fellowship International.

Whereas Baptist Bible College has made a departure from the stand of our Washington State Fellowship concerning the King James Bible (that the King James Bible is THE Word of God for the English speaking peoples), Whereas the Baptist Bible fellowship International has made a move away from Biblical ecclesiastical separation as evidenced by the receiving of Jerry Falwell in the Fellowship with open arms,

Whereas we recognize an increasing involvement with Promise Keepers and other Charismatic and ecumenical activities within the Fellowship,

Whereas there is an increasing departure from the King James Bible among the churches of the BBFI we deem it necessary to take the following actions.

Resolved, That the name of the Washington State Baptist Bible Fellowship is hereby changed to Northwest Baptist Fellowship and that the official affiliation with the Baptist Bible Fellowship International is hereby rescinded. This action is not intended to dictate to any church or churches what schools they are to support, what meetings are to be attended, what missions clearing houses are to be used, what missionaries are to be supported, or anything that is to be done as individual churches. This action does not advocate the dropping of Baptist Bible Fellowship missionaries."

It is commendable that these men took this action. I believe they should go a step further and not send support for the BBF missionaries to Springfield. The support can be sent directly to the missionary through other means.

NEBRASKA/WEST IOWAVOTED OUT OF BBFI

Since the BBFI claims it is not a denomination but only a fellowship of pastors this heading caught my attention. It appeared in the PLAINS BAPTIST CHALLENGER whose editor is Pastor E.L. Bynum of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. Here is a portion of the article.

Yes, they voted out the Nebraska/West Iowa BBF for being too separatist by requiring its officers to hold to Local Church and Closed Communion and No Alien Baptism. But as you see the BBFI does not hold to that view any longer among its members even though the By-Laws state these things as truth. I did not realize the BBFI was a Denomination that you could be voted out of, but I guess it is.

This is going to cause some major problems for the BBFI. Many states are calling asking how can they vote you out of a Fellowship if you were not voted into it. It has stirred up a hornet's nest of controversy and looks to be the catalyst that will split the BBFI. Several State Fellowships have been talking of pulling out for some time and this may be all it takes for others to follow Washington's example and leave the BBFI.

RUSSIA, CHINA, INDIA FLIRTING WITH ALLIANCE

This would be an alliance that would bring together about 2.5 billion people, formidable military might and a vast stockpile of nuclear weapons, all held together by the common goal of countering the United States' global dominance.

We have given China many of our military secrets. Many others have been stolen. China is the emerging power for the year 2000. All this means that we are moving very fast toward the time in history when the United States Of America will no longer be a power.

If any of you reading this who have studied prophecy have some messages on this subject we would appreciate receiving them. It appears that Israel is on the verge of giving up land for peace. We know that Israel will be at peace in the land and will make a peace treaty with the Anti Christ.

We also know from scripture that the Anti Christ will break the treaty. After the treaty is broken we know that Israel will suffer extreme persecution.

What army is it described in Revelation 9:16? "And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them." Could this be a huge army marching on Israel from the Far East? Could this be China and Russia?

We are fast moving toward the ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT predicted in the Word of God. We would welcome some messages by preachers who have studied prophecy.
