Dear Dr. Falwell,

Your meeting with homosexual leaders on October 23rd is appalling, incomprehensible and irresponsible as a leader among evangelical Christians. I do not expect you to read this letter or to heed its admonition and rebuke, as history has proven that you will walk your own path as long as it leads where some "gain" can be won.

I will begin with my conclusion by quoting Dr. Allen P. Dickerson of the Maranatha Baptist Watchman.

"How can any believer read the account in Genesis 19 of God's severe judgment upon homosexuality in Sodom and Gomorrah, and the account in Romans 1 about God giving homosexuals up to `uncleanness, dishonoring their bodies to vile affections and finally to a `reprobate mind,' and treat homosexuality as a light matter?"

I want to thank Dr. Dickerson for presenting the question in the case of Dr. Falwell's visit with the homosexual leadership.

Can you imagine Billy Sunday meeting with the bar tenders of the towns where he preached hell fire and brimstone and saw God sweep towns into the arms of Christ and soberness?

Can you imagine D.L. Moody having dialogue with the prostitutes of downtown Chicago?

Can you imagine Jonathan Edward's great message, "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God," having the same results with, "Perverts in the Arms of a Loving God?" What could possibly be next?

In any regard, Dr. Falwell, I believe you have had your "love'in" by making seven terrible errors.

1.) It is reported that you "co-hosted" a summit of gay leaders in your church's Lyunchburg gymnasium. According to the Word of God, there can be no "co-hosting" with the enemies of Christ.

The very concept means that one army that is a betrayer and adversary of the other army comes together in a cooperating mode while mediating some kind of dialogue. "Fellowship" is a close word of "co-hosting," which would be clearly against the word of God in your situation.

"What fellowship (co-hosting) hath light with darkness?" You can answer the question.

2.) You are reported to have said that your position is, "to love the sinner and hate the sin." God loved the world, but he does not directly say that He loves the "sinner." In fact God's love only goes to the "sinner" in those attributes which He created in the man.

God hates the old nature . . . He did not create it that way. God hates a perverted mind . . . He did not create it that way. God hates the pervert . . . He did not create man that way. Anything that God created, He loves. Anything that God did not create, He does not love.

God loves a man in that He is created in the image of God. he has reason, spirituality, thinking capacity, God consciousness, life, everlasting life and an ability to exercise choice. God made all mankind with those God-given attributes.

He loves those gifts to each man and sees the value of them in every man should he repent upon conviction and be saved by grace. At the same time, he hates the sinner's old nature, his evil choices, his sin and his evil intentions. Dr. Falwell, I don't think you understand these teachings of the Word of God.

God compares the wicked to abominable branches, Isa. 14:19; bad fish, Matt. 13:48; briers and thorns, Isa. 55:13; carcasses trodden under feet, Isa. 14:19; chaff, Matt. 3:12; deaf adders, Ps. 58:4; dogs, 2 Pet. 2:22; dross, Pa. 119:119; fools building upon sand, Matt. 7:26; fuel of fire, Isa 9:19; etc., etc. It is very difficult to co-host with these vivid illustrations.

3.) You have made friends with the world. (James 4:4)

"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."

You can answer the question your way and look at the end of the passage and compare it with God's answer, only to find that your new "friendship" with homosexuals, with whom you disagree, is exactly as James described those who smooth out differences with the enemies of Christ.

4.) You have shunned many evangelical "friends" by your willingness to placate the wicked.

2 Sam. 19:5-6: "And Joab came into the house to the king, and said, Thou hast shamed this day the faces of all thy servants, which this day have saved thy life, and the lives of thy sons and of thy daughters, and the lives of thy wives, and the lives of thy concubines; In that thou lovest thine enemies, and hatest thy friends."

Dr. Falwell, what was your answer and response to the many protesting evangelicals at your church on the day you courted the homosexuals? Did you heed all the warnings of your fellow pastors? I am sorry I could not have joined in their ranks.

5.) You have allowed the Mormons and other apostate and heretical groups to mock the witness of Christ and the purported intent of evangelical Christianity. Ezekiel said it would happen among God's people because of their unwillingness to stand for truth and by the truth. He predicted the attitude of the unsaved as they look at the compromise:

Ezekiel 22:5: "Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed."

Dr. Falwell, you have enjoyed some recognition by the Mormon community in Salt Lake City. I have had many say that they have watched your programs and purchased your books. Of course the Mormon Church has spent tens of thousands of dollars recently to take their stand against the homosexual infringement in California. I say, "good for them."

It is a sad day when we can agree with the wicked more than we could another evangelical on any issue. I might expect them to cave in, but it is despicable when an evangelical does it under any circumstances.

I believe you will, yea, have lost credibility among the Mormon Community, and as a result the evangelical cause for Christ here is damaged, as well as in other parts of the world among the heathen who still have some morals. Do you love our cause among Mormons as much as you love the perverts with whom you associate and give platform to speak? Would you lose the respect of one to gain the political silence of the other?

6.) You believe that you can build bridges with wickedness. What a mistake. You have taken pleasure in those that do this wickedness.

Rom. 1:24: Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves."

Rom. 1:32: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

It does not say that the evangelical had pleasure in their sin. They may have disagreed totally with it as you say you do. The sin was in having pleasure in the men themselves that practice these wicked deeds.

Did you not say that you loved the men that practice these vile things? Do you not feel that bridges of love can be built without repentance? That love rather than conviction is a means of finding Christ? (Acts 2:37-38)

7.) You have found yourself above the scripture admonition:

1 Cor. 5:11: "But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat."

We understood from the news media that you were advised not to have refreshments so that you could escape this particular charge. You didn't eat, but you did drink. Of course this is not the point in Corinthians which deals with keeping company with a man who is, "called a brother" when he is a "for nicator." Some might say that the company with whom you met were perverted "brothers." We certainly would not agree with that, but one thing is certain: We should not keep company with such an immoral man, "brother" or no. I don't think you understand that concept.

Dialogue is of the devil from the first day that evil hit the garden. What do you not understand about that? We never win by talking and giving room to the devil.

"God gave them up" to their wickedness. Yes, they can be saved, but only after conviction. Giving the enemy platform never won him. He needs some good old fashioned conviction, repentance and hatred of his sins. He can be saved, but not by bridge building.

What a shame your tactic is of meeting with the enemy on "common ground" when there is none. Even a holy God could not meet with the sinful man except there was "common ground," and that was on the basis of Jesus' shed blood. We would not expect any other ground upon which to find friendship and holy conversation, but, then the way of today's politicians, philosophers, social workers, and psychiatrists doesn't proceed from that foundation anyway does it?

WILL HOMOSEXUALS GO TO HEAVEN?

This is not written to condemn anyone. Our Redeemer said, "For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." (John 3:17) There has only been one perfect person in this world; the one who died for us on the cross and rose again the third day. "For ALL have sinned . . .? (Romans 3:23)

This is written to present, both the civil authorities and Christians obligations toward sodomites. Christians are messengers of MERCY. The civil authority represents the law of justice.

We use the word HOMOSEXUAL only because this is their identification known by the general public. Since we are giving Biblical instructions on whether or not these people will be in heaven, we must use the BIBLICAL term for their correct identification, which is SODOMITE.

Will there be any SODOMITES IN HEAVEN? We dare not give our opinion, nor any man's opinion. Heaven belongs to God. Only He has the authority to say who He will admit into His beautiful heaven. Let us take a close look at God's word regarding sodomites and their final destination.

The first mention of sodomites in the Bible is found in Genesis 19. Two angels appeared to Lot in Sodom, where he dwelt, to warn him and his family to flee from the city. They said, "For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxed great before the face of the Lord; AND THE LORD HAS SENT US TO DESTROY IT". (Genesis 19:13) These sodomites were so spiritually blind they thought the two angels were men.

Genesis 19:4-5: "But before they lay down, the men of the city even the men of Sodom, compassed the house around, both old and young, all the people from every quarter; And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us, THAT WE MAY KNOW THEM" Å That is, have carnal sex with them.

God's wrath against the wicked sin of sodomy is expressed in these words, "THEN THE LORD RAINED UPON SODOM AND UPON GOMORRAH BRIMSTONE AND FIRE FROM THE LORD OUT OF HEAVEN: And He overthrew these cities, and all the inhabitants of the cities . . ." (Genesis 19:24-25).

What was God's attitude toward these sodomites? Every one of them He burned with brimstone and fire. Sodomy is not a psychogenitic hereditary problem. Jesus said that lasciviousness (including sodomy) is a sin in the heart (Mark 7:21-23).

God changes a person to a new creature in Christ where there is repentance and faith in blood redemption (Romans 3:25; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

What Should Our President And Congress Do With Sodomites?

God's command for the civil authority is found in Leviticus 18:22 and 22:13. "Thou shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: IT IS ABOMINATION. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: THEY SHALL SURELY BE PUT TO DEATH: Their blood shall be upon them."

Had congress been faithful to legislate laws according to God's word a few years ago, there would not be approximately 7,500,000 sodomites in our country. This command was an act of mercy to keep them from multiplying in the land.

King Asa, Our Example

King Asa set the right example for all presidents and kings thereafter to follow. Asa made the honor roll in heaven. God's word describes him as one of the BEST kings who reigned over the country of Judah in these words, "And Asa did that which was RIGHT IN THE EYES OF THE LORD HIS GOD". (2 Chronicles 14:2).

Why was the Lord so pleased with Asa? How did Asa meet his Creator's approval?

The answer is found in 1 Kings 15:11-12, "As Asa did that which was RIGHT IN THE EYES OF THE LORD, as did David his father. And he TOOK AWAY THE SODOMITES OUT OF THE LAND."

This did not mean Asa transferred the sodomites to another country. Asa discharged his faithful obligation to God's commandment in Leviticus 20:13 (They shall surely be put to death, by having the sodomites stoned to death.

The greatest obligation, before God, the President of the United States and congress has, is not balancing the budget, but to legislate laws to prevent God's wrath upon our land.

Sodomy was one of the sins committed by the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorities, Canaanites, Perizzaites, Hivites and the Jubusites that caused them to be spewed out of their land and given to Israel (Leviticus 18:22-28).

God's Judgment Will Fall On America Very Soon!

Recently, the president of the United States, along with congress expressed their concern of sodomites serving, as respectable citizens in the military. Why would a sodomite want to serve in the military?

Sodomites are infected with AIDS more than any one. Medical treatment for AIDS is very expensive, approximately $200,000.00 for each case. While in the service the government, with your tax dollar, pays their medical bill.

For this reason every red-blooded American should scream to heaven, to prevent sodomites from serving in the armed forces.

Sodomy is The Last Stage Of The Development Of Sin Before God Strikes A Nation With Judgment

Sodom and Gomorrah was an EXAMPLE of what will happen to America unless the leaders in our government repent of their attitude of the wicked sin of sodomy.

The words from the sodomites in Genesis 19:9 implies the Sodom government had made sodomy an accepted life style. Then God struck that nation with judgment.

The overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah is an EXAMPLE of what God will do with any nation who allows this wicked sin of perversion to spread unchecked in these words, "Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an EXAMPLE", of what God will do with any nation who allows this wicked sin of perversion to spread unchecked in these words, "Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an EXAMPLE, suffering the vengeance of ETERNAL FIRE". (Jude 7)

God's Description Of Sodomy Romans 1:26-32

26. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a REPROBATE MIND, to do those things which are not convenient;

29. Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30. Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31. Without understanding, covenantbreakers, WITHOUT NATURAL AFFECTIONS, implacable, unmerciful:

32. Who knowing the JUDGMENT OF GOD, that they which commit such things are WORTHY OF DEATH . . ."

The last thought on sodomites, WORTHY OF DEATH means they have earned and deserved the death penalty.

Will There Be Sodomites In Heaven?

God's word says an emphatic NO. Read carefully 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, "Know ye not that the unrighteous SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Be not deceived, neither fornication, not idolaters, nor adulterers, not effeminate (perverts), nor abusers of themselves with mankind (sodomites) shall inherit the kingdom of God."

The word of God is crystal clear of the ultimate destination of sodomites in these words, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable (SODOMITES), and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, SHALL HAVE THEIR PART IN THE LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE". (Revelation 21:8)

If God says the final destination for sodomites is the lake of fire, where they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever (Revelation 21:10), that settles the question. It is not debatable.

The Christian's Obligation to Sodomites

The civil authorities have an obligation before God to legislate laws, for the good of our society, to prohibit sodomy to keep them from making other sodomites. Millions will be in hell because voters have elected lawmakers, who are not willing to do the right thing for the good of our society. God ordained lawmakers as His ministers, to execute His wrath upon him that does evil (Romans 13:4).

However, gospel ministers are MESSENGERS OF MERCY and have an obligation to present the gospel to sodomites, pleading with them to REPENT and receive the LORD JESUS CHRIST as personal Savior. Some of the Corinthians were sodomites, but repented of their perversion and accepted Christ as Saviour.

It is written, "Such were some of you (sodomites included); but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit our God." (1 Corinthians 6:11)

When sodomites get born again, they are no longer perverts, but are sanctified and made righteous before God. The word of God expresses the change quite well in these words, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold all things are become new". (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Our merciful God has no pleasure in sending sodomites or anyone else to hell, but pleads with them to repent, turn from their evil way and live (Ezekiel 33:11).

We believe our Lord will be coming back very soon, perhaps even before the end of this year. The stage is set for the world to go into the great tribulation (Matthew 24:21), but before then the trump will sound and born again ones will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonias 4:16-17).

If you are a sodomite or any other type of sinner, bow your head and pray this prayer. All respectable sinners will perish and spend eternity with perverts, unless they repent.

God, be merciful to me a sinner. (Luke 18:13)

I believe Jesus died for my sins on the cross and rose again the third day. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

I repent of my sins. (Luke 13:3)

By faith I receive the Lord Jesus as my Saviour. You promised to save me, and I believe you. (Romans 19:13)

Because you are God and you cannot lie. (Titus 1:2)

I believe right now the Lord Jesus is my Saviour, and ALL my sins are forgiven through His blood. I thank you dear Lord, for saving my soul: In Jesus Name. (John 13:13; 1 John 2:12)
